Alworth Memorial Fund
In 1949, as a memorial to his parents, Marshall W. Alworth established the Marshall H. and Nellie Alworth Memorial Fund to provide scholarships in certain designated basic sciences for students with outstanding scholastic ability. It was the desire of the founder to help young people prepare for careers that may be of benefit to humanity.
     
 
Blandin Foundation
The mission of the Blandin Foundation is to strengthen rural communities in Minnesota, especially the Grand Rapids area. Grants are focused on six major priorities: economic opportunity, educational attainment, stimulating promotion of fairness and opportunity, leadership development, promoting a stronger rural voice and stimulating intercultural competency. A minimum of 55 percent of grants are targeted to the Itasca County local giving area, with the balance used to support initiatives in other parts of rural Minnesota.
     
 

Grand Itasca Foundation
The Grand Itasca Foundation, a local non-profit corporation founded in 1989, has donated over $2,000,000 to Grand Itasca Clinic Hospital for use in the expansion or development of health care services that meet the ever-changing health care needs of Itasca County and surrounding areas.

     
Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce
Our Mission is simple - "Advocate for a business environment in which our members can prosper". To accomplish this end, the Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to: economic diversification; developing outstanding quality of life for its community; providing adequate chamber resources; proactive government relations and life-long learning for its members.
     
  Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation
The Grand Rapids Area Community Foundaitn is a trust—a collection of endowment funds that are contributed by individuals, corporations and community service organizations to benefit the geographical area of Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
IASC: Itasca Areas Schools Collaborative
The Itasca Area Schools Collaborative (IASC), under a joint powers agreement, was formed in August 2005 to bring new focus to a partnership of area school districts seeking increased educational opportunities for students.
